Soundcore Liberty 4 Pro Earbuds Shine with Affordable Price and Impressive Audio Features

Soundcore Liberty 4 Pro earbuds have been making waves in the audio scene with their feature set and price point. Priced at around $130, the earbuds offer a combination of great noise cancellation, bold sound, along with a feature-rich app, making them a great choice in the budget segment.
Liberty 4 Pro earbuds feature dual drivers—a 10.5mm driver and a 4.6mm titanium tweeter on each bud. Together they provide a punchy and powerful sound that is particularly enjoyable with pop and electronic music. The sound is energetic and dynamic, and these earbuds are ideal for anyone looking for a fun and accurate sound experience.
The bass might initially seem too emphasized, but it is easy to adjust the sound profile. Using the HearID test in the Soundcore app allows one to calibrate the sound to deliver a more balanced output with crisp high notes and well-defined vocals. While the sound quality is generally good, some might find that there is a certain lack of natural richness and instrumental separation compared to more expensive models like the Nothing Ear and Sony WF-C700N. However, for most listeners, these earbuds will be satisfying across various music genres, especially after personalization.
The Liberty 4 Pro makes a jump in noise cancellation with adaptive ANC technology that’s assisted by six microphones and a pressure sensor. The array is effective at canceling ambient sound and is on par with more expensive alternatives like the Bose QuietComfort Ultra and Apple AirPods Pro 2. ANC does a great job in loud environments, like noisy public transport or offices, and is able to adapt based on changes in ambient sound and pressure.
That being said, some users might find there’s a slightly “pressurized” sensation in their ears and a faint background hiss when ANC is active. The transparency mode, while available, isn’t quite as refined as on some rival models, with an over-processed sound that fails to quite deliver the natural ambiance as effectively as something like Apple’s AirPods or the Jabra Elite 10.
The Liberty 4 Pro earbuds themselves are sleek and comfortable, with a liquid metal-esque finish on the stems that gives them a high-tech appearance. The charging case features a digital display and touch bar, allowing users to conveniently switch settings like transparency and noise cancellation on the fly. The earbuds feature squeeze controls on the stem, allowing users to adjust volume and other settings even if they’re only wearing one earbud.
The Soundcore app offers deep customization, with sound modes and ANC customization. The earbuds also feature spatial audio with head tracking, although there have been some reports of latency in this mode. Multipoint pairing works flawlessly, making it easy to switch between devices without a hiccup.
The Liberty 4 Pro lasts up to 30 hours, with 7.5 hours on a single charge. They support both USB-C and wireless charging, so they’re convenient to use every day. The earbuds are also IPX5 sweat- and water-resistant, so they’ll survive workouts or damp conditions.
Overall, the Soundcore Liberty 4 Pro earbuds offer superb value for money with their excellent noise cancellation, custom sound, and feature-rich design. They may not be able to match the audio quality of more expensive rivals, but they are an excellent choice for anybody seeking budget-friendly earbuds with premium-grade features.
