Amazon is offering significant discounts on Apple’s new iPad models ahead of their launch on March 12, 2025. The most notable deals are on the M3 iPad Air, which has seen its first-ever price drop. The 11-inch iPad Air M3 with Wi-Fi and 128GB of storage is available for $559, marking a $40 discount from its original price of $599. Additionally, Amazon is offering up to $70 off select models, including the 13-inch versions.
To customers who require a larger storage capacity, the 256GB and 512GB versions of the 11-inch iPad Air M3 get a discount of $40 and $50, respectively. The 1TB version costs $1,049, or a discount of $50. For the larger version, the 13-inch iPad Air M3 versions are also on discount, with the 128GB and 256GB versions costing $749 and $849, respectively, both receiving a discount of $50. The 512GB model is priced at $1,049 with a discount of $50, and the 1TB model is priced at $1,229 with a discount of $70.
These are available to all customers without the requirement of joining any membership, as opposed to some of the sales in Best Buy, which offer the same discount but for My Best Buy Plus/Total members. For instance, Best Buy has the 11-inch iPad Air M3 on sale at $549, but this is only for members.
The M3 iPad Air features Apple’s latest M3 processor, with significant performance over the last one. It provides an 11-inch or a 13-inch LED display depending on the variant, and a 12MP rear camera and a 12MP front-facing camera. It supports the Apple Pencil Pro and Magic Keyboard and is suited for use cases like drawing and photo editing.
Apart from the price cuts on iPad Air, the price of 13-inch iPad Air Magic Keyboard has also been lowered by Amazon by $20 to $299.99. This is its first price drop.
For other interested in new Apple gadgets, the iPad (A16) can also be pre-ordered but with minimal discounts on different models. The best prices for the iPad (A16), however, are through trading in previous iPads, which can provide up to 50% discount on the entry-level model.
All in all, these discounts are a great chance for consumers to spend less on Apple’s new tablets before they actually hit the stores. Since the launch is already around the corner, these pre-order offers should be among the best in some time.
