Apple’s Latest iPads and Macs Start Reaching Global Customers This Month

Apple just announced several new products that are now beginning to arrive in customers’ hands around the world. Maybe the most notable release is the new iPad Air, which is driven by the speedy M3 chip. This update significantly increases the device’s performance, with it being nearly twice as fast as the previous M1 variant and between 3.5 and more times faster than the A14 Bionic version. The iPad Air M3 is available in both 11-inch and 13-inch sizes, giving users the option to choose portability or additional screen space to maximize creativity and productivity.
The iPad Air is designed to accommodate Apple Intelligence and comes with latest cameras, fast wireless 5G, and Apple Pencil Pro and Apple Pencil (USB-C) compatibility. The latest iPad Air features four sleek colors: blue, purple, starlight, and space gray. The new iPad Air will begin at $599 for Wi-Fi for the 11-inch device and at $799 for Wi-Fi for the 13-inch device in the United States. For studying purposes, the rates are slightly lower priced, from $549 for the 11-inch version to $749 for the 13-inch version.
Along with the iPad Air, Apple has also introduced a new Magic Keyboard for the device. The keyboard is an additional option for the functionality of the iPad Air and is available in white. Pricing for the Magic Keyboard starts at $269 for the 11-inch version and $319 for the 13-inch version, with education prices.
In addition to these iPad releases, Apple has also released new MacBook Air variants with M4 chips. These are superior in performance and have a 12MP Centre Stage camera and more integrated memory. The MacBook Air begins at Rs 99,900 in India and is available for pre-order, and it will retail on March 12.
Moreover, Apple has also launched new Mac Studio models featuring M4 Max and M3 Ultra chips. The M3 Ultra chip is introduced as Apple’s most powerful silicon till now, meant to be utilized optimally with AI and machine learning tasks. The new Mac Studio models also feature Thunderbolt 5 ports, a huge step forward in terms of connectivity.
As part of its product refresh, Apple has discontinued a couple of older models, including the MacBook Air with M3 and the Mac Studio with M2 Max and M2 Ultra. This move aligns with Apple’s move towards more powerful, newer technology.
In the future, Apple will likely continue to release products throughout 2025. Apple will release more than 20 new products this year, ranging from new iPhone updates to potential releases in the smart home market. The June Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC) will likely release updates for macOS and iOS, while the fall season may see new iPhone releases and other MacBook Pro updates.
