Apple’s Latest Macs and iPads Reach Global Customers Amidst Spring 2025 Launches

Apple has just introduced several new products, such as an iPad Air featuring the latest M3 chip and a new Magic Keyboard. The M3 chip offers improved performance, offering nearly twice the speed of the previous M1 chip and three and a half times the speed of the A14 Bionic chip. This allows users to simply create content, play graphics-heavy games, and enjoy quicker performance in tasks.
The new iPad Air is available in two sizes, 11 inches and 13 inches, and both are offered in four colors: blue, purple, starlight, and space gray. The iPads are available with a storage space of between 128 GB and 1 TB. The 11-inch one is ideal for portability, while the 13-inch one offers more screen real estate for creativity and productivity. The Magic Keyboard, designed exclusively for the iPad Air, offers flexible usage choices and additional features. Apple Pencil Pro and Apple Pencil (USB-C) support, advanced cameras, fast wireless 5G connectivity, and runs on iPadOS 18 with Apple Intelligence support are offered by the iPad Air.
In addition to the iPad Air, Apple has also updated its budget iPad with an A16 chip, its first since 2022. The new iPad features enhanced performance and storage, starting at $349 and above. The iPad Air and the budget iPad were both up for preorder on March 4, with shipping beginning on March 12.
The iPad Air ranges from $599 for the 11-inch Wi-Fi version and $799 for the 13-inch Wi-Fi version in the United States. For education, they range from $549 for the 11-inch version and $749 for the 13-inch version. The Magic Keyboard is available in white and retails at $11.499 for the 11-inch version and $12.599 for the 13-inch version, with education pricing.
Apple’s dedication to sustainability is evident in these new devices, which contain a minimum of 30% recycled material, including 100% recycled aluminum in the enclosure and 100% recycled rare earth elements in magnets. The batteries employ 100% recycled cobalt and over 95% recycled lithium, significant advancements in environmental sustainability.
In the meantime, Apple also announced the M3 Ultra, which boasts the fastest CPU and GPU on a Mac, and further solidifies Apple’s silicon dominance. Apple has also delisted some of the older iPad and Mac devices since the recent releases, such as the new Mac Studio and MacBook Air, which can be preordered and released in stores from March 12.
Apple is reported to be making sweeping changes to its operating systems in order to streamline and unify them across devices. The move is aimed at enhancing user experience through providing a more streamlined interface on iPhones, iPads, and Macs.
