Samsung Expands One UI 7 Beta to Galaxy S23 and Tab S10 Series, Offering Early Access to Android 15 Features

Samsung has officially opened the One UI 7 beta program for the Galaxy S23 series and the Galaxy Tab S10 series. The update is Android 15-based and gives users a chance to experience new features and enhancements before they are rolled out publicly. The beta program is already live in a handful of countries, including India, South Korea, the US, and the UK, and users can enroll through the Samsung Members app.

One UI 7 beta version brings a big redesign for the interface, like new icons, a Now Bar for accessing important information with a glance, and a changed quick settings panel. The app drawer is now vertical and provides a new manner of app organization. New widgets and more customization features for the lock screen and home screen are also provided to the users. The camera application has been given additional features to improve photography and videography.

One of the intriguing aspects of One UI 7 is that it integrates AI capabilities, which aim to make devices smarter and more intuitive. The update also brings the latest March 2025 security patch, so devices are not only secure but also stable. The download size for the Galaxy S23 series is approximately 4.7GB, and the update is heading to all unlocked and T-Mobile (locked) variants in the US.

To participate in the beta program, users need to have a Samsung Account and open the Samsung Members application. Once they have enrolled, they can download and install the beta software via the Settings menu. Users need to be aware that since this is a beta version, some applications, such as banking applications, might not function properly.

Samsung will also open the One UI 7 beta program to other devices, like the Galaxy A55, which has yet to receive its beta release. The stable release of One UI 7 will begin towards the end of April but might take some time to roll out to all the eligible devices.

That the Galaxy Tab S10 series has been brought into the beta program highlights Samsung’s push towards providing a uniform user experience for its range of products. The Tab S10+ and Tab S10 Ultra are among the first tablets to receive the update to the One UI 7 beta, enabling users to experience the new features on larger screens.

Overall, the One UI 7 beta is a massive jump for Samsung, offering users a glimpse of what’s to come for Android on Galaxy phones. With its refreshed design, new features, and AI enhancements, One UI 7 is set to deliver a next-gen experience for Samsung users.
