Angry Miao Unveils AM Infinity Mouse with Revolutionary Skeletonized Design and Hot-Swap Batteries

Angry Miao, well known for its indulgent mechanical keyboards, turns its attention towards the gaming mouse market with the AM Infinity Mouse. The revolutionary product boasts an elegant skeletonized design of magnesium alloy, weighing a mere 49 grams and making it one of the lightest full-sized mice available in the market. The light weight of the metal body of the mouse not only reduces weight but also adds fortitude to the frame, and thus, creates maximum strength despite heavy gaming periods.

The AM Infinity Mouse has a magnetic battery system with instant hot-swapping capability that Angry Miao claims facilitates “infinite battery life.” There is no downtime during game playing when the user can quickly change the battery in seconds. It also includes an auxiliary battery, which is pre-charged and ready for immediate use, hence no disconnections during use.

In the performance front, the AM Infinity Mouse includes the PAW3950 sensor that has up to 30,000 DPI, and it also has 8,000Hz polling rate support, ensuring effectively zero input lag even in high-refresh-rate displays. The mouse comes equipped with TTC Orange Dot Optical V2 micro switches that deliver clicky tactile feedback along with a silky smooth button registration.

The AM Infinity Mouse is reminiscent of the Lotus Type 79, a groundbreaking vehicle that transformed Formula 1 racing. This is reflected in the mouse’s light yet durable construction, evoking the essence of simplicity as the epitome of sophistication. The mouse is designed for competitive gamers, with functionality equivalent to the best of the best in the likes of Logitech G Pro Wireless and Razer Viper Mini but with the added benefit of the revolutionary battery system.

The AM Infinity Mouse has tri-mode connectivity that includes 2.4G wireless, Bluetooth, and wired. It supports programming via the AM Master software to personalize polling rate, DPI, button assignment, debounce time, sensor level, and RGB lighting.

The mouse is currently up on Kickstarter, with a preorder price of $125 to start. The campaign has been wildly successful, raising far more than its initial goal. The MSRP of the mouse is given as $129 as a regular option, and early backers are assured that they will receive the lowest price and priority shipping at the end of the campaign.

Angry Miao has also introduced additional reward tiers and accessories to the mouse, including a spare battery and gaming peripherals like the AM SilkGlass mouse pad. The production versions should be shipping in June with some design changes, e.g., black side buttons, over earlier prototypes.

Overall, the AM Infinity Mouse is a fresh brutal entry into gaming mouse territory by Angry Miao, combining out-of-the-box thinking with top-end functionality that will resonate with serious gamers.
