Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Flip 6 Get S25 Features via One UI 7 Beta 3 Update

Samsung has rolled out One UI 7 Beta 3 update on Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Galaxy Z Flip 6 with some of the capabilities of Galaxy S25 series. The launch is a continuation of Samsung’s commitment to bettering user experience on foldables. Among the new features are long-pressing the side button to call up the digital assistant, text summaries of call recordings, creating personal stickers and images, summarizing web pages, and editing sound in videos. Natural language can also be used to search for settings so navigation can be made more convenient.

One of the standout new features in this update is the Audio Eraser, which allows one to remove unwanted audio from videos, like crowd noise, music, nature sounds, noise, voices, and wind. It initially rolled out on the Galaxy S25 series and is now coming to the foldable phones. The update also further enhances the Sketch-to-Image feature to allow users to provide more detailed input via voice or text and attain images that are closer to what they had in mind.

One UI 7 Beta 3 update comes with a list of fixes that are aimed towards improved performance on the overall device. Battery widget rendering when the widget is being used in landscape, duplicate text over widgets, and presentation when using the application and home screens have all been addressed. Other issues concerning the media card and settings when keeping the phone under cover have also been solved.

This update also brings the April 2025 security patch, ensuring that the devices receive the most recent security enhancements. One UI 7 Beta 3 is already live in South Korea and will soon become available in other markets, including the US, India, Germany, and the UK.

The release of these features and patches suggests that Samsung is nearing the end of its beta testing cycle for One UI 7 on the Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Flip 6. While this may be the last beta update before public availability, Samsung may still release a small build or a Release Candidate to ensure stability before releasing the stable build.

The release of the update to beta testers is evidence of Samsung’s commitment to providing customers with early access to new features and improvements. As the official release of One UI 7 is about to happen, users can anticipate a more seamless and feature-rich experience on Samsung’s range of devices.

Besides the Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Flip 6, Samsung will also roll out One UI 7 updates to its other phones, including the Galaxy S24 series and S23 series, and the Galaxy Tab S10 series and Galaxy A55. The update will begin on April 7, with various regions having availability at different times.
