Galaxy Watch 8 Classic Expected in 2025, Fans Hope for Another Classic Model Return.

Samsung appears to revive the Classic model in its Galaxy Watch lineup with the release of the Galaxy Watch 8 Classic in 2025. This follows on from its omission in 2024, when Samsung launched the Galaxy Watch 7 and Galaxy Watch Ultra. Rumors have pointed to the Classic model having a rotating bezel, the iconic feature of its earlier Classic releases, and being accompanied by the regular Galaxy Watch 8.

The Galaxy Watch 8 will be released in July 2025, continuing Samsung’s typical mid-year release period for its smartwatches. Whispers also indicate two varying sizes, continuing the tradition of offering adaptability according to wrist size. The prices are expected to be similar to its predecessor, starting at around $299 for the base model.

Speculated additions of the Galaxy Watch 8 are advanced health tracking features, such as body composition analysis, heart rate monitoring, sleep tracking, and possibly ground-breaking blood glucose tracking technology. If available, this feature would be an immense assistance for people who suffer with diabetes. Samsung also could introduce a square face shape in certain models, moving away from its traditional circular watch face and hopefully appeasing those accustomed to Apple Watch appearances.

The comeback of the Classic model is generating buzz among consumers who appreciate its premium aesthetics and functional rotating bezel. Samsung’s innovation drive may even be extended to MicroLED screen technology for improved brightness and battery life. Patents indicate slicker strap mechanisms and gesture control for broader applications, though these may not be included in this model.

While details are speculative, Samsung’s commitment to building its range of smartwatches means that both the Galaxy Watch 8 and the Classic model will be targeting different user needs without compromising on compatibility within Samsung’s network. These changes position the Galaxy Watch 8 range as a player in the 2025 aggressive smartwatch market.
